Community Choice Means Rules People Can See
Communities do not need a louder slogan. They need visible rules, easy reporting, and proof that enforcement follows the evidence.
Visible rules build trust
Alberta's public framework already explains age limits, identification expectations, advertising restrictions, display rules, and enforcement. Those rules should be easy for parents, adults, and retailers to find.
The next step is local reporting. If a community sees illegal sales, it should know where to report them and how those reports are used.
Choice with accountability
Community choice does not mean ignoring youth prevention. It means keeping legal adult choices inside a system where conduct can be checked.
