Community Complaints Need a Visible Loop
Community Choice asks Alberta to make vaping complaints traceable enough for residents to know what changed.

People report problems when they trust the loop
Alberta says its Tobacco and Vaping Enforcement Team responds to complaints and inspects retailers, according to Alberta rules and enforcement. A stronger public loop would show communities what happens after a complaint is made.
A visible loop would include
- Where to report suspected youth sales or illegal supply.
- What information helps an investigation.
- How quickly complaints are triaged.
- What outcomes can be shared publicly.
Why it helps policy
Community reporting can support prevention without blaming every legal retailer or every adult consumer. It gives enforcement a map instead of a mood.
